The challenge

The main challenge was the need to target two distinct audiences while getting the same message out there, which presents difficulties due to their contrasting characteristics and preferences. To address this, the marketing team strategically decided to tailor the content on different social media platforms. Facebook, being more popular among parents, became the focus for one audience, while Instagram and Twitter, which are popular among younger individuals, were chosen for the other. We also had to ensure that the content remained relevant and engaging on each platform, which required careful curation to resonate effectively with both audiences. Overcoming these challenges demanded a well-thought-out content strategy that aligned with the preferences of each audience on the respective platforms, maximising engagement and effectiveness.
